Masoud Kamalahmadi

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management Science in the University of Miami's Herbert Business School, with a secondary appointment in the Department of Health Management and Policy. I earned my PhD in Operations Management and Decision Sciences from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.

My research focuses on understanding the dynamics of work within service systems. I investigate how various factors within the work environment, such as workload, work schedules, work modality (online vs. offline), and more, influence service workers and customers, and develop data-driven models to improve productivity and service outcomes. I am currently collaborating with several health systems, hospitals, and restaurants to help them make more informed operational decisions.
