Masoud Kamalahmadi

I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Management Science in University of Miami's Herbert Business School. I received my PhD in Operations Management and Decision Sciences from the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University.

I study the way people work in service systems such as hospitals and restaurants. I investigate how different characteristics of work (workload, shifts, work station, etc.) impact workers' performance, and develop data-driven analytical models to improve productivity. I am currently collaborating with several health systems, hospitals, and restaurants to help them make more informed operational decisions and design better jobs for their workers.
